Two short plays; completely different in time, place, and location. In an impoverished Mississippi railroad town, Willie, an independent preteen with ambitions to emulate her sister’s romanticized but tragic untimely death, attempts to regale the important parts of her life to Tom, an adolescent desperate for companionship. Travel 15 years into the future and we see these two people living together in a decrepit apartment on the lower east side of Manhattan. We once again bear witness to the romanticization of the worst parts of humanity. Still, these two people cling to one another with the hope that a true human connection is enough to survive.
Performances are: February 21-23 (Wed-Fri) at 7pm
