written by Paula Vogel + Tatsu Rivera
Join us for a double-feature evening of theater! Paula Vogel’s And Baby Makes Seven and Tatsu Rivera’s The Chaparral will be performing in succession every night of the run with an intermission between shows.
And Baby Makes Seven
Written by Paula Vogel
Directed by Gemma Siegler ’22
Anna, Ruth and Peter await the arrival of their newborn child, but first they must rid the crowded apartment of their three imaginary children. Hilariously startling and brilliantly funny, Paula Vogel (The Mineola Twins, How I Learned to Drive) redefines the meaning of family and completely blurs the lines between illusion and reality, power and subjection, friendship and love, masculinity and femininity.
And Baby Makes Seven is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York

The Chaparral
Written & Directed by Tatsu Rivera ’22
The Chaparral explores the twists and turns of what it means for one to flee as a coping mechanism as well the pressures that come with stifling one’s identity. This is a play that traverses the past and present of Jean, a queer man, as he travels through his safe space with his younger sibling Alexis as the chaparral attempts to swallow them whole.
